We’re eagerly anticipating the 2021 Dallas Symposium this August as the world tip toes back to a “new normal.”

As COVID measures are gradually reducing cases across the US, we will cautiously resume the Symposium, by reviving the theme initially planned for last year with a focus on Metallic Minerals and Elements.

Our own safety precautions and that of our venues require that we limit in-person attendance in 2021 to a small, intimate group here in Dallas. Several weeks ago, we sent out invites to a small group to attend in-person. We apologize in advance for not being able to accommodate those who didn’t receive an invitation, and we appreciate your understanding during these unusual times. Please understand that no exceptions to this rule and process can be made; we hope to be closer to pre-COVID capacity in 2022. However, if you’re interested in attending in the event that capacity changes, reach out to us at info@dallassymposium.org.

For the rest of our world-wide mineral lovers, we’ll be broadcasting and live-streaming the talks as well as hosting our special benefit auctions online, as we did in 2020. This allowed for much broader participation by the community and was tremendous fun for all! Proceeds from in-person and online tickets sales will go to assist several mineral organizations.

Received an invitation? If you already confirmed your interest in attending, formal registration will be heading your way by the end of June.

Attending online? We’ll have more information on purchasing tickets in the coming month and posted on dallassymposium.org.

All ticket proceeds this year will be going directly to the Mineralogical Record, Rocks & Minerals, TGMS, and mindat.org.
